The Herstory of Phi Delta Zeta
In August of 2006, eight women came together with the idea of organizing a chapter of
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated would target the needs of the Greater Hartford and Manchester areas.

After much planning, on March 23, 2007, at the Tri-State Area Convention, the Phi Delta Zeta Chapter was chartered.
The Mission
Our mission is to continue to grow with our existing community partners and establish new relationships in the Greater Hartford area by providing visible examples of how a service organization can inspire positive change within its local communities.
Our vision is to remain committed to the principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. while impacting the Greater Hartford community through lasting partnerships. We seek to build upon those relationships while fostering an environment for like-minded women to flourish and advance.
